Vaccinations

**The H1N1 vaccine and the seasonal influenza vaccine are now available at both Lehan's locations.  Vaccinations are given during all hours of operation and no appointment is necessary.

The Lehan Drugs immunization program was the catalyst in earning the 2009 "Most Innovative Pharmacy Practice" award for the state of Illinois.  Providing over 3000 vaccinations yearly, our flagship program gives patients one of the most convenient methods for receiving recommended vaccines.

In accordance with Illinois state law, Lehan's provides immunizations for patients age 14 and older.  These include:

• Influenza (recommended for most patients, provided for all Medicare recipients free of charge, available to the general public.)
• Shingles (Zostavax®, recommended for all patients over 60 who have had chicken pox)
• Pneumonia (recommended for patients over 65, and covered fully by Medicare)
