    Tim Lehan

    Pharmacist/Owner

    Tim is a 1976 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, where he met his wife, Ann. Tim has practiced in DeKalb since that time and has successfully guided the business for the past 15 years. He holds certifications in Immunizations, Osteoporosis, and Diabetes care. He has overseen the addition of immunization services, home medical equipment, compounding services, and expansion into the DeKalb Clinic in 2009. Tim is also very active as an advocate for community pharmacy in our area, serving as a regional director for the Illinois Pharmacists Association. He participates yearly in legislative efforts in Springfield and Washington D.C. to protect his patients’ access to their local pharmacies. Tim's experiences and leadership have resulted in establishing Lehan's as the area's leader in community pharmacy practice. In 2009, he received a national award presented by the Illinois Pharmacists Association for the “Most Innovative Pharmacy Practice.” Tim has also been very active in the DeKalb community by serving on the board for the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce and then as president; he currently serves on the board for ReNew DeKalb. He is active in church as a Eucharistic Minister and teaches the baptism classes for St. Mary’s of DeKalb. Tim loves nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his new grandchildren!

    Ann Lehan

    Pharmacist/Owner

    Ann graduated cum laud from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. A native Iowan, Ann met Tim while in pharmacy school. After graduation, they married and moved to DeKalb to join the family business. Ann's hard work and endless energy has been instrumental in establishing the pharmacy as the premier provider of pharmacy services in the area. She has also served on the Kishwaukee Hospital board, the Kishwaukee Foundation College board, and on the United Way board. In addition to managing daily pharmacy operations at the store, Ann made time to successfully raise her 6 children, rarely missing a basketball or soccer game, track or swim meet, play, or any other event her kids were involved in. She is currently enjoying the new title of "Grandma."

    James Lehan

    Business Operations Director

    Jim is a 2004 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University. He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in public accounting as well as played 4 years on the varsity basketball team, serving as team captain during his senior year. Upon graduation, Jim earned his CPA (certified public accountant) designation and took an associate position in the commercial real estate practice of the accounting firm KPMG, located in Chicago. After 3+ years with the firm, Jim left to take an asset manager position with Inland Western Retail Real Estate Trust, Inc., a real estate investment trust located in Oak Brook, IL. At Inland Jim was directly responsible for the operating performance of approximately $500 million in commercial real estate and development property located throughout the United States. With his background in accounting and finance, Jim recently decided to join the family business and is now responsible for the day to day business operations and finances of Lehan Drugs. When not at work Jim can be found spending time with his wife, Jessica, and his baby daughter Ryann. He also enjoys staying in shape playing sports and spending time with family and friends.

    Jon Lehan

    Doctor of Pharmacy/Manager

    Jon Lehan, PharmD, grew up working in the family pharmacy. In college, he decided to follow in his parents’ footsteps, and graduated in 2004 with highest distinction from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. Upon graduation, Jon was commissioned into the United States Air Force and achieved the rank of Captain, serving as Chief of Pharmacy Services, 95MDSS, Edwards AFB, CA for 3 1/2 years. Jon finished his commitment to the Air Force in March of 2008 and he and his wife, Briana, moved back to the Midwest to join the family business.

    Jon's experience in the Air Force as an outpatient clinic setting provides him the confidence to effectively work with patients' physicians to manage their drug therapy. Jon is also very interested in customized medicine and pharmacy compounding for patients, and trained in Houston, Texas to further his compounding skills. When Jon isn't working in the pharmacy, you might find him playing his piano, guitar, or drums, and singing with Bri. He’ll also never turn down a round of golf.

    Patrick Lehan

    Home Medical Equipment Manager

    Born and raised in DeKalb, Patrick's journey has taken him around the world through a variety of careers, including flight attendant for Eastern Airlines, a waiter and food manager for a cruise ship in Hawaii, an estate manager for a well known golf professional, and a manager for TA travel plazas throughout the Midwest.  In 2005, Pat returned to DeKalb to manage Lehan Drugs' new Home Medical Equipment department, bringing with him a wide range of knowledge and experience.  Since that time, he has grown the business from the ground up into one of the largest home medical providers in the area, emphasizing a focus on customer service and patient satisfaction.  With Pat's leadership, Lehan's home medical department first received accreditation from ACHC in 2006, years before the industry average, and again in 2009.  Patrick recently won 3rd place in DeKalb County's 2009 "50 Men Who Cook" competition for his mouthwatering rendition of coconut chicken salad.

    Briana Lehan

    Home Medical Sales and Operations, MBA

    Originally from Wisconsin, Briana received her undergraduate degree in Management and Organizations from the University of Iowa in 2004, where she also met her husband, Jon.  While living at Edwards AFB in the Mojave Desert in CA, she found herself directing several choirs and substitute teaching while earning her Master of Business Administration through Ellis University.  After moving to DeKalb in 2008, Briana joined the Lehan family business to aid in the rapidly growing home medical equipment department.  In 2009 she spearheaded Lehan Drugs' new marketing campaign, beginning with the creation of a new logo, new promotional materials, and a brand new website.  She also spends her time learning the ins and outs of small business management and enjoys the opportunity to get involved in each aspect of the business.  Like Jon, Briana loves singing, spending time with family, and traveling whenever she can.

    Priyashu Agarwal

    Respiratory Therapist

    Priyashu moved from India during his high school years to his current hometown of Roselle, IL.  He then went on to graduate cum laud from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale, upon which time he earned his Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) license and his Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.  He has spent the last three years working for Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Alexian Brothers Medical Center as a critical care therapist, obtaining experience in the ER, ICU, surgery unit, bariatric unit, pediatrics, and other areas.  In his free time, Priyashu loves playing cricket, racing cars, and spending time with family and friends.  He also enjoys traveling internationally when opportunity permits.

    Dan Hildebrandt

    Power Mobility Specialist

    Dan is a DeKalb native who has a mechanical engineering degree from Northern Illinois University.  He has been with Lehan’s since 2000 and now works primarily in the home medical equipment department, specializing in mobility equipment from canes, walkers, and manual wheelchairs, to power wheelchairs and scooters.  He is currently training in high-end rehabilitation equipment and assistive technologies to restore independence to people with disabilities.  Dan also manages all computers and other technological equipment at both locations and can easily fill in as a pharmacy technician if necessary.

    Cindy Hoffman

    Certified Fitting Specialist

    Cindy is a Board Certified Mastectomy Fitter and has been an important part of the staff at Lehan Drugs since 1969 in many different areas of the business. When Lehan Drugs expanded into home medical equipment, her compassionate nature and interest in women's health led her to training in pre and post mastectomy products and education to help an ever growing patient population. She is also certified as a custom fitter of Elvarex products for post surgical and congenital lymphedema patients, as well as over the counter compression stockings and garments for patients with venous insufficiencies and edema. Her past experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant enables her to assess her patients’ needs in other areas of the home medical equipment department as well.

    Karen Kuhn

    Pharmacist

    Karen is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy, and has been with Lehan's since 2009. Karen brings nearly 25 years of community pharmacy experience to the Lehan's pharmacy team. She has a special interest in using natural medicines, optimal nutrition, and homeopathy in helping patients maintain optimal health. She is also a certified pharmacist immunizer.


    Karen also has a great passion for animals, which has led to an interest in veterinary prescription compounding. She has completed continuing education in compounds and pharmaceutical care for veterinary patients through the Professional Compounding Centers of America, and is Lehan's expert in helping develop optimal formulations to effectively treat the unique needs of animal patients, both large and small.


    Karen lives in Campton Hills with her husband Dan, three dogs, and a cat. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. You'll also find her riding her two horses, Windsor and Glory, and competing in both dressage and eventing.
